Who We Are

A Movement Started by Youth Activists & Intellectuals

Kalam Sewa Samiti was founded in 2019 by a group of energetic youth activists along with some intellectuals, who came together with the objective of improving and upgrading communities across India.

Our organization contributes to development and meets community needs - especially of the youth, children, women, widows and the disabled. We aim at achieving sustainable results from developmental activities and initiatives at community levels.

Kalam Sewa Samiti is out to improve and upgrade the life of the people living in the slums of India, which includes sanitation awareness, vocational and agriculture trainings, and women empowerment programmes.

Sanitation & Hygiene Awareness

Many regions of India have seen deterioration in community health, especially at the community level. We run awareness drives and camps that educate people on clean water, sanitation and healthy living.

Vocational Training

Skills open doors. Our vocational training programs equip youth, women and other community members with practical, marketable skills that help them earn a dignified livelihood and improve their lives.

Agriculture Training

For rural and slum communities, farming is a way of life. We share modern farming techniques and sustainable agriculture practices that help families grow more food and earn better incomes.

Empowering women, widows and girls is central to our mission. Through skill training, awareness and confidence-building, we help women take charge of their lives, families and futures.
